The Amazing Mall of America
We will meet -- not in a hotel meeting room -- but in the retail marketing capital of the US: the famous Mall Of America in Minneapolis.
The Mall of America (MOA) is the largest retail gathering of stores under one roof in the United States -- 520 to be exact plus 86 restaurants/specialty food outlets ... and they are expanding! We will meet in the MOA's Corporate Conference Facility, so everything you need to see will be indoors -- warm and within walking distance.
We chose the Mall of America because we want a hands-on, real-world, learn-to-see-it-for-yourself event rather than a more typical sit-there-while-someone-talks-at-you seminar presentation. Here is what meeting at MOA will allow you to do:
- You will see how the major retailers and restaurant chains are differentiating themselves from the competition ... when the competition is under the same roof. One other interesting marketing fact: to be accepted as a tenant in the Mall of America, the restaurants had to show how they were going to present themselves differently than they were doing in any other location.
- You will discover what the MOA merchants are doing to stand out, increase their business and market their products to new and existing customers.
- You will figure out what programs they have in effect to build repeat patronage and maintain customer loyalty.
